Can someone explain how I can open the two relays connected to the door phone from the preview screen on the indoor monitor? I tried to go through the documentation, but it is not clear enough to show how to configure this scenario.

As far as I understand, the relays on the door phone should be activated via HTTP requests sent from the indoor monitor, but I do not know how to configure HTTP access on the door phone or how to set up the requests on the indoor device.

Hello P,

The below steps is a guide on how to configure the internal touchscreen to trigger the associated door phone relay whilst in Monitor mode using HTTP command.

PLEASE SEE STEP 13, which indicates to set the same settings for PREVIEW mode.

Devices in this guide are E16C Door Phone and S563 Touchscreen.

Door Phone Settings:-
1. Log into Door Phone GUI.
2. Access Control > Relay > Open Relay Via HTTP > Tick Enabled.
3. Enter Username and Password to be used.
4. Click Submit.
5. Intercom > Call Feature > Hang Up After Open Door > Type,  DTMF or HTTP.
6. Click Submit.
7. Check if High Security Mode is enabled which by default it should be.
System > Security > High Security Mode, should be ticked.

Internal Touch screen Setting:-
8. Log into Indoor Monitor GUI.
9. Device > Relay > Remote Relay by HTTP:-
      a. IP/SIP, enter the IP address or SIP of the door phone.
      b. Username, enter from the door phone Open Relay via HTTP settings.
      c. Password, enter from the door phone Open Relay  via HTTP settings.
      d. Door Num, choose which relays to be triggered. 1 = Relay A.
      e. Remove any Door Num not required.
10. Click Submit.
11. Device > SoftKey In Monitor Page Key 1:-
      a. Status: Enabled
      b. Display Name: enter name to be displayed.
      c. Type: Select Remote Relay HTTP 1.
12. Click Submit.
13. Set the same settings in SoftKey In Call Preview Page.

The DoorNum refers to which relay it will trigger.
DoorNum=1 refers to Relay A.
DoorNum=2 refers to Relay B.
If Door Phone only has one relay (Relay A), then use DoorNum=1.
