Looking at the video, it seems to be used in connection with the product called SR01, but if I buy and use X915, I wonder in what situation I use Security Relay.
For example, if someone breaks a door phone, has a line connected to the product, and gives a lock contact signal, the door can be opened. If you use Security Relay, please explain how you can contact the user and how you can ensure safety inside.
1.Security relay will be power on with seperate power supplier, which means even X915 is broken and power off, security relay will still have power, doorlock still able to locked.
2.The line connect to SR01 from Akuvox intercom, it is not short to open door, it need send special signal to open door protocal (RS485 or relay with encryped signal), which means even have line connect to security relay, people can not open the door.
What do you mean by a separate power supply?
Most of the doorbells are powered up by DC12V or PoE, but if the doorbell is broken, wouldn't it not be able to receive power?
If the door phone is broken, the safety relay can still be used normally because the power supply of the safety relay does not come from the door phone.
but this security feature only applies if you use Method 1 of SR01 Modul ("SR0l is powered by a power adapter") right? https://manuals.plus/akuvox/sr01 ... r-io-module-manual. Because if you use Method 2."SR0l is powered by a door phone." and someone breaks your Outdoor Station the SR01 will loose power supply because it is supplied directly with power from the Station itself. Whats than the security benefit of using Method 2 of SR01 Modul ("SR0l is powered by a door phone 12V"?). One advantage of what I can think of is that you can the "safety relay" a an additional relay so that the relay ports of the Terminal Block from Outdoor Station can be used separately meaning one more relay than normal, but than this is not a Security Feature? Am I right or do I understand something wrong.?
Both Method 1 and Method 2 have the security feature. When you are using Method 2 to connect SR01, SR01 will be powered only when doorphone's relay is triggered. And when SR01 is powered, it will receive a encryped signal from doorphone to trigger its own relay to open door.
