Hi,
I have an akubela PG71-KNX-EU hypanel and a KNX actuator in my project. I have a heating package in my project that automatically works to warm up the house, We can bypass the start and stop of its working with a switch that a KNX actuator can handle this duty. The things that we need are reading the environment temperature by the Akubela Hypanel thermostat, and having an option in Hypanel to let the user set a setpoint for the environment temperature that the system automatically calculates; if the temperature is less than the setpoint, send an action to the KNX actuator to send start command to heating package by connecting the KNX actuator relay, and if it is higher than setpoint send stop command to kns actuator by disconnecting the relay.
How can I do that with akubela hypanel logic function?
Thanks
It will be very easy for the Hypanel to realize the function you need. Since you know the Hypanel can be the logic center to deal with the logic.
So what we need to do is:
1.with ETS tool, we can make one switch icon with function, link gr, tap to turn on the heater and tap to turn off the heater。
2. After we set up at the ETS and update the configure to device, then from the akubela side, no matter at APP, add scene option, or at the web page, add scene option, we can set the logic we need. Choose the condition(when the sensor temperuture higher than), and then set up the trigger option, the ETS swtich will apear there.
Hi, it seems to work 100%, but there is an issue. We need the user to have access to change the setpoint. For example, sometimes, the user needs a hotter and colder temperature; is there any possible block like the one that controls the AC? Because it can change the setpoint.
Thanks in advance
Yes, it is, but I need a block that can read a hypanel thermostat and also has an option to change setpoints. The first solution that you sent has a static setpoint that couldn't be changed by the user; we need a dynamic setpoint that the user can change, and the system works as logic says.
Please take a look at the attached image
Sincerely yours
