Does SDMC have data limits?

SDMC will save the data in the local PC, so I think maybe it depends on the storage of pc

There are a few reasons:
1. Some end-Customer will feel more secure if the data can save at 2 places.
2. Some end-customer not feeling comfortable as their data host on cloud.

What is the difference between backup in a local or remote server? If I need to backup, I think maybe it has high-security protection on the server, right? Do you have any suggestions?
