How our solution can quickly determine the fire location?

Background
Many fire hazards are found in high-density housing areas. Therefore, a residential solution needs to lay emphasis on preventing or alerting the residents of fire risks.
To achieve this goal and to reduce the losses caused by the fire as much as possible, we focus on the alarm notification sending ways and fire site determining speed.
Now, let's look at how the Akuvox solution is designed.

What problems can we solve?
1.Notify property managers and users at the first hint of a fire.
2. Help property managers and security guards determine the fire location as soon as possible.


How to notify property managers quickly?
1. A smoke sensor is connected to a C313 indoor monitor whose alarm feature is enabled. C313 indoor monitor will alarm if the smoke sensor is triggered. This alarm system works 24/7.
2. The alarm notification will be sent to property managers' SmartPlus App and R49 guard phone in the security center if the indoor monitor is added to SmartPlus Cloud Platform. Compared to the analog intercom, the notification-sending speed is faster because of the quick and stable digital signal transfer process.


How can the security guards find fire sites faster?
1. Configure the HTTP command for C313's alarm action on the web portal, then the command will be sent to E12 door phone at the house entrance when C313 is in alarm mode. Also, E12 will enter the alarm mode after receiving the HTTP command.
2. E12 door will ring up and its LED light will light up in red and blue alternately. Users can customize the alarm sound and can adjust the tone to a higher level.
3. The alarming and flashing E12 would help the security guard to determine the fire site easier and faster.

    Are you able to link to the documentation for the HTTP Command which needs to be sent to the E12W from the Indoor Monitor?

    Hi Neil,

    Very nice solution, thanks for the detailed explanation, but in high buildings (buildings higher than 52 meters) EN 54-14 standard is obligatory. This is known as a fire regulation.

    Do we have a solution for this situation?
