In New York, rental buildings are requested high-security access control systems.
This building is rented to different companies in this project, and some floors have been rented to banks. We all know that banks emphasize on high-security more than other companies or organizations.
So, this project chooses to use HID card to ensure access control security. HID card is an encrypted card that can prevent identity theft from decoding and copying cards.
However, the HID card reader only can read the card number and can not identify users. So A01 is chosen to be deployed for user identification.
- Card Number Transfer
Since A01 does not support HID card and is connected with a third-party HID card reader via Wiegand, the card number format will be converted by Wiegand when adding cards.
The converted card number format is decided on Wiegand output type of the card reader.
And don't worry about the access speed. The door open process is quick as swiping cards on A01 directly.
- Connect via Wiegand
In this project, A01 is deployed in the machine room within the building, and card readers are connected to A01.
A01 has Wiegand port so that you can connect the wires of the card reader to A01 via Wiegand.
