    2. Wrong network group
Set device and App on the same network group.
.... I had already seen the device Network group ... but always assumed it was to facilitate with determining if the call had to go through cloud or could be made through local network ... reading this I'm having some doubts ...
Could you please explain a little more about that setting ??
Also, slightly more "on topic" : how / where do you change / determine the App network group ?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi kevinj

Devices within the same network group use IP to communicate with each other. If you want to enable communication between devices in different LANs, it is suggested to add them to different network groups.
You can click the link below to view the network group video to understand.

But still stands my question about the App :
how / where do you change / determine the App network group ?
Also App is usually installed on smartphones ... which are sometimes in same network group when connected on same LAN on wifi ... and sometimes not ... especially when outside of the building where the intercom has been installed ...

    Kevinj,

The network types including call type is only inclusive for Akuvox Devices, for the app it will always presume it's not on the same network and therefore always be setup correctly.

    Hi Kevinj,

You're right, the APP doesn't need to confirm the network group.
This is the case that the door phone can't call the indoor monitor. We need to check the network group. We will continue to improve the documentation.
