When the Akuvox device is connected to the SmartPlus Cloud, it will be registered automatically.
If it fails to register, the account status will display “Failed” on its Account > Basic interface.
The device status appears grey on the cloud.
Please first try to reset the device to see if the problem still occurs.
Check the Network
Check whether there is a firewall. If it is, please turn it off or add SmartPlus ports and domains to the whitelist.

Check the Connect Type
The connect type will switch to Cloud automatically after the device is connected to the SmartPlus Cloud.
If the device is in SDMC mode, it may fail to switch to the Cloud mode. You can reset the device or change it manually.
The following devices with the latest versions support changing the connect type directly on the web portal.
Door Phones: X915V2, R20 series, R29, R28V2, R27V2, R25A, E12V2, E13, E21,and DB01.
Indoor Monitors: S567, S565, S563, S562, C313V3, C316, C319, and S560.
1. Use the device IP to log in to its web interface. The initial username and password are admin
2. Click Network > Advanced. Scroll to the Connect Setting section.
3. Click Submit.
If the device does not support changing connect type directly, you can change it through the auto-provisioning command.
1. Download the configuration file on the System > Upgrade > Auto Provisioning interface.
2. In the file, set the server mode and save it. 0: None, 1: SDMC/ACMS, 2: Cloud.
3. Click System > Maintenance. Scroll to the Others section.
4. Click Choose File and import the file.
The device will reboot after the configuration succeeds.
