I’ve put together a step-by-step guide for integrating the Akuvox SmartPlus Cloud platform with Salto locks. Once the integration is successful, you can unlock doors conveniently right from the SmartPlus App. Whether you’re an administrator setting things up or an end user looking to use the feature, just follow these steps—it’s straightforward!
Prerequisites
1. You must first have a Salto account (it will be linked to the SmartPlus platform later).
2. Ensure your Akuvox device meets the minimum firmware version requirements (see the full list of compatible devices and versions at the end).
Link the Salto Account
1. Log in to the SmartPlus Cloud platform with an installer account.
2. Click Integration on the left column and select Salto Lock. You can click User Guide to view the integration steps.
3. Click to link the Salto account.
After linking, the linked account will display, and you can click to cancel the linking and view the IQ list.
1. Move your mouse cursor to the target locks. The Add tab will display. Click it to assign the lock.
2. Select the site.
3. Enter the IQ PIN and Code that are acquired in the Salto App.
4. Select a lock for verification and click Submit.
Note
In a commercial project that is created after October 15, 2024, only after the lock is linked to a door phone, can users unlock the lock on their SmartPlus App.
After assigning the lock, you can modify and remove the lock by clicking .
5. Click to further assign the lock to a specific building and an apartment.
6. You can also change the Device Name and link it to a door phone. After linking, the lock will be displayed on the door phone’s Relay list instead of the homepage of the SmartPlus App.

Check the Assigned Locks
After adding the Salto lock, you can check its information and unbind it in a specific project.
In a Single-family Project
1. Go to a specific single-family site and clickof the desired user.
2. Click Third Party Devices.
3. Click Salto Lock, where the assigned locks will be displayed.
- Click New to assign the added lock to the site.
- Click to view its information.
- Click to change its name and link it to a device.
4. If the lock is assigned to a specific user, click of the user and scroll to the Third Party Devices section.
In a Commercial Project
1. Go to a specific commercial project.
2. Click Devices and select Public Area or a building where the lock is installed.
3. Click Third Party Device to view the added Salto locks.
For End Users: Manage Locks on SmartPlus App
After your administrators add the locks, you can unlock and manage locks on your SmartPlus App.
Unlock the Lock
1. Unlock the lock on the homepage when it is NOT linked to a door phone.
2. When it is linked, tap Unlock of the linked door phone. The lock will be unlocked with the door phone. Please note that if your account is used in a commercial project, the lock can ONLY be unlocked after it is linked to a door phone.
Set up the Lock
When the lock is assigned to your apartment, you can set up the lock.
1. Go to the Me > Device Management > Third-Party Devices page.
2. Tap Salto and select the specific IQ list and lock to be configured.
3. On the Settings page, verify the lock by tapping Verification in the upper-right corner and entering the IQ PIN and Code acquired from the Salto App. After the verification is done, you can change the lock name and the linked door phone.
