I recently installed an E12W and a C313. The devices communicate via SIP/FritzBox, and almost everything works perfectly.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to capture MJPEG images at a resolution other than VGA. Under Surveillance > RTSP, you can set various resolutions and quality levels in the “MJPEG” section (CIF, 4CIF, VGA, 720p...). However, these settings are ignored, and the E12W only saves images in VGA resolution at a constant quality.
I tried all the MJPEG image addresses I found in the Knowledge Base:
picture.jpeg, picture.cgi, jpeg.cgi, video.cgi
Tried restarting and resetting the device completely, disabling and re-enabling MJPEG, but the images are still at 640x480 regardless of the quality setting.
Since I also use a FritzFon, which struggles with the continuous display of VGA sized images, I would like to switch the stream to CIF.
The RTSP video stream quality settings are working as intended.
