E18C Motion Detection not working

E18C Motion Detection not working

Hi everyone,

my house was recently equipped with an E18C doorbell unit which I now try to fit to my needs. Currently I am struggling with the motion detection function of said device. Regardless of what I configure the http action is not executed. I know that the URL provided for the HTTP action is valid by copying and pasting it into a browser. But the camera never executes it, even if I stand in front of the cameras waving my hands, jumping around etc.

Can you please provide some information on how to resolve the issue? My current configuration can be seen in the attached screenshot.

Thanks in Advance!

Could you export your logs so we can troubleshoot the issue?

You can check the “Relay” box to see if the E18 motion sensor has actually been triggered.

The issue is actually resolved. I updated to the latest Beta Version 18.30.11.21 and now it works as expected. One question still remains though. Could you explain what the Detection Accuracy parameter does? It is a value from 1 to 6, but I have no clue what those values mean. Is it more accurate with 1 or 6? What does accurate mean in this context?

Thank you for your feedback and glad to know the issue has been resolved after updating to Beta Version 18.30.11.21.
Regarding your question about Detection Accuracy:
This parameter refers to detection precision. It supports integer values from 1 to 6, where a smaller value means higher detection accuracy. The default value is 2.

That means if I want the sensor to be more sensitive and make it more likely to trigger I should set it to 1, right?
