Home assistant capability

Home assistant capability

Hello everyone.
In the akubela-shelly integration presentation pdf, there is a statement:
Compared with Shelly’s own screens, akubela’s screens not only come at a lower price and support intercom, but also have built-in HA capability,
enabling fully local Home Assistant support for complete in-home automation and open integration.

Now, I'd like to clarify what exactly does this 'fully local home assistant support' means. Does this means that actual HA instance is running on acubela hub? In theory this would open world to advanced logic using Node-red or something similar and support for all home assistant enabled devices. Or this means something else?
Thank you for all the answers.
