I think most of us knew Akuvox begin from SIP phone, and produced the first Android phone, the first Android phone now have 2 generation, from R48 to R49.

R48 and R49 have two UI suitable for different scenarios. Traditional UI used to deployment for normal sip phone scenario, usually in a office, every staff have one, and able to call each other by registering R48 to same SIP server.

And Akuvox is famous on their Intercom solution with cloud. So for R48/49, there is another UI for cloud only,(I think should also suitable to run on SDMC), so under this scenario, the R48/R49 will work as "Guard Phone" when we add device under a community, at public area both at Pubic area, or the public device of a building, there will be this option. If we add the device under public device of a building, then at R49 side, the contacts will show users in this building. If add device at public area, then contacts will show all users and sort in different building for default, what is more, at cloud side, installer will be able to delegate different buildings. R49 contacts will show residents with assigned building.  At the same time , door phone at corresponding building will able to call R49 directly, such as R29, the reception icon and R27/R28 manage dial button.
